Promoted innovation by creating a game plan to increase college and career access for all students at a school wide level, and has established community programs that benefits at-promise students with educational resources including scholarships, backpacks and school supplies, and leadership skills.

Miguel Rivera
My name is Miguel Rivera, school counselor, community leader, and a proud product of Norwalk and the NLMUSD. Having spent my life in this community and as a former student of our district, I am deeply committed to its betterment.
Currently, I am an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Norwalk, Executive Director of Dream Big Project, and a School Counselor at Saddleback High School in the city of Santa Ana.
My journey with NLMUSD goes beyond being a student; it's a testament to my dedication to improving our educational system. I'm running for a position on the school board because I believe in the power of education to transform lives. I want to contribute to enhancing the quality of education and experiences offered by our district.
